Qatar Airways Cargo is hiring a Cargo Capacity and Revenue Optimization Manager based at its Doha headquarters.

The role oversees network capacity and revenue optimization across passenger bellyhold and dedicated freighter operations.

The position focuses on revenue management, overbooking controls, capacity allocation, and network margin improvement.

Network optimization

  • Design and execute inventory controls to maximize cargo profitability across the global flight network.
  • Balance long-term customer allotments with dynamic free-sales capacity.
  • Use no-show trends and demand forecasting to establish calibrated overbooking risk levels.

Performance and alignment

  • Establish analytical performance reviews to monitor route profitability and evaluate flow trends.
  • Resolve operational and commercial constraints with commercial, ground, and network planning teams.
  • Pivot inventory strategies based on real-time market conditions.

Team and analytics leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and upskill inventory management specialists and analysts.
  • Act as a functional subject matter expert on strategic initiatives.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to support network digitalization and process optimization.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of specialized experience in airline cargo, air freight, or aviation supply chain operations.
  • Expertise in cargo revenue management, network margin optimization, and dynamic capacity allocation.
  • Proficiency with quantitative analysis, Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder networks, and strategic project rollouts.
  • Fluent professional written and spoken English with strong negotiation and communication capabilities.

Salary benchmark

  • A published Qatar market benchmark lists QAR 28,000 to 45,000 per month for a cargo inventory management manager with 6 or more years of relevant airline experience in Doha.
