Role Context

The role is with Unilever’s Beauty & Wellbeing business unit and focuses on the Skin Care category.

The position leads demand planning cycles from the company’s Dubai hub.

The work combines advanced demand planning, Kinaxis system management, KPI governance, and portfolio optimization.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is full-time and on-site.

S&OP and S&OE Cycle Leadership

  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle for the Skin Care category.
  • Manage long-term and short-term forecasting, business target alignment, growth ambition setting, and multi-driver demand analysis.
  • Lead the weekly S&OE cycle by analyzing customer order data and identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Provide timely recovery feedback during the S&OE cycle.

Kinaxis and Forecasting Systems

  • Set up and adjust the forecast baseline through FEU.
  • Execute S&OP and S&OE processes through Kinaxis.
  • Use Kinaxis data analysis modules for KPI monitoring and actuals-versus-forecast analysis.
  • Apply advanced planning tools and machine learning-based forecasting methodologies.

KPI and Portfolio Optimization

  • Analyze category-specific KPIs monthly and report to SCLT and global forums.
  • Correct planning gaps in upcoming cycles.
  • Lead quarterly SKU rationalization activities to simplify the portfolio and support volume-value growth.
  • Monitor distributor OS&R against targets.
  • Manage SLOB by identifying slow-moving and non-moving stock for appropriate disposal actions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • At least 4 years of supply chain experience.
  • FMCG background is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on Kinaxis and FEU experience is an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Understanding of forecasting methods, including machine learning-based approaches, is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and data analytics capabilities.

Salary Benchmark

  • The source lists a UAE market benchmark base salary of AED 22,000 to AED 32,000 per month for a demand planning assistant manager with 4+ years of FMCG planning experience in Dubai.
