Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi government systems and procedures
- Valid UAE driving license
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- UAE National preferred

Job Purpose
- The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government related processes and documentation for Asteco employees and business operations in Abu Dhabi.
- The role ensures compliance with UAE labor, immigration, licensing, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong relationships with government authorities and supporting HR and business functions with timely processing of official transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and obtain employment visas, residence permits, Emirates ID applications, medical fitness tests, and labor contracts for employees.
- Coordinate with relevant government entities including ICP, MOHRE, Abu Dhabi Municipality, TAMM, Department of Economic Development (DED), and other regulatory authorities.
- Handle visa renewals, cancellations, status amendments, and dependent visa applications as required.
- Ensure all company licenses, permits, and registrations are renewed on time.
- Guide employees through onboarding requirements related to immigration and government documentation.
- Coordinate employee medical appointments, Emirates ID biometrics, and visa stamping procedures.
- Assist employees with government related inquiries and documentation requests.
- Monitor changes to UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and government policies, ensuring compliance across the business.
- Maintain accurate records of employee visa status, license expiries, and government approvals.
- Prepare and submit reports related to visa activities, permit renewals, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure all documentation is processed accurately and within established timelines.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with government departments and external service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- UAE National preferred; other nationalities with relevant UAE PRO experience may be considered.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE.
- Experience handling visa and labor processes within real estate, property management, facilities management, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi government systems and procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of UAE labor and immigration regulations.
- Experience using ICP, MOHRE, TAMM, and related government portals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
