Responsibilities
- Maintain daily record of fleet status and movements
- Register day to day activities of the business unit through vessel team and management
- Execute crew changes in accordance with client requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to collect necessary reports and updates
- Collect and review vessel pending requisitions for CICPA LOAs and NL
- Collect company managed vessels Daily Performance Report and Vessel Daily Allocation and distribute to concerned departments
- Ensure all reports are submitted daily and on time
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of operational reporting
- Ensure Marine Notice to Masters from clients are received
- Perform any other related duties/projects assigned by Operations/Project Manager
- Issue invoices for clients using CW1
- Ensure and check invoicing and billing of Shipping Agents, vessel owners, charterers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma
- 3 years experience preferred
- Project management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/etc)
- MS Office knowledge
- Excellent communication skills

Overview
- DSV is a global leader in transport and logistics.
- This role is for a Project Specialist, Marine based in Abu Dhabi.
Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain Daily Record of the Fleet Status and movements.
- Register the day to day activities of the business unit through the vessel team and management function.
- Execute crew changes in accordance with client requirements.
- Liaise with the suppliers to collect the necessary reports and updates.
- Ensure efficiency in the provision of the management services under the ship management agreement.
- Collect and review the vessel’s pending requisitions for CICPA LOAs and NL.
- Collect the company managed vessels Daily Performance Report and Vessel Daily Allocation and distribute to all concerned departments.
- Ensure all reports are submitted daily and on time.
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of operational reporting.
- Ensure the Marine Notice to Masters from clients are received.

Billing Responsibilities
- Use CW1 to issue invoices for clients.
- Ensure and check invoicing and billing of Shipping Agents, vessel owners, charterers in line with agreement and with proper supporting documents.
- Collect and double check the summary of the Marine Vessel Utilization.
Qualifications & Characteristics
- Education: Bachelor Degree/ Diploma.
- Work Experience: 3 years experience preferred.
- Specific Skills: Project management, Familiar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/etc), Teamwork, Excellent Communication skills, Logical and self motivated, Result oriented, Time Management, MS Office knowledge, Coordination Skills.
