About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support local management and business/sales teams with legal advice on freight forwarding and logistics matters
- Review and negotiate customer/commercial contracts and contractual terms
- Handle corporate law matters including articles of association and regulatory housekeeping
- Provide legal support regarding material claims and litigation
- Engage and instruct external legal counsel as necessary
- Deal with local authorities on matters of legal and regulatory importance
- Monitor and advise on changes in industry applicable local legislation/regulations
- Provide regular internal reporting on legal and claims/litigation matters
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer/solicitor in the Middle East Region
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Senior Associate or Legal Counsel with a reputable law firm or in house legal team
- Exposure to general corporate and commercial law, including contracts, transactions, and real estate matters
- Excellent English language proficiency at a business and legal level
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred
- Strong legal and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate
- Ability to work independently while effectively engaging with stakeholders
- Highly structured approach to work with strong attention to detail

Detailed Responsibilities
- Supporting local management and business/sales teams with legal advice on freight forwarding and logistics.

Qualifications & Characteristics

- Excellent English language proficiency at a business and legal level; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
