Role Overview

Work Schedule and Compensation

• The schedule is five days per week, with 8+1 working hours.
• The stated salary is AED 8,000–10,000 per month, with benefits as per UAE law.

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil and MEP designs and provide optimal engineering solutions.
• Document communications and manage work practices in accordance with company SOPs.
• Supervise project-level site activities, monitor work quality, and support timely completion.
• Attend site surveys, workshops, supervision activities, and coordination meetings.
• Evaluate material quality, workmanship, and construction methodologies.
• Provide completion measurements and progress feedback to support invoice verification.
• Conduct engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, design reviews, and value engineering assessments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and support the execution and professional handover of MEP projects.

Key Performance Indicators

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, material take-offs, and samples against MEP project requirements.
• Monitor project execution in accordance with approved MEP requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, architecture, or interior design from an accredited institution.
• More than six years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installation and testing.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Experience with site inspections, snagging, testing and commissioning, and handover processes.
• Ability to monitor contractors and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.

Technical Skills

• Experience preparing inspection reports, NCRs, site observations, and progress updates.
• Familiarity with HVAC, firefighting, electrical distribution, drainage, water supply, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, basic engineering software or tools, CAD software, and 3D rendering.
• Strong MEP supervision, problem-solving, written communication, and spoken English skills.
• Arabic language is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of MEP design principles, execution methodologies, and construction methods.
