Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end payment delivery projects across business, operations, technology, vendors, and external partners.
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, governance, and delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Manage and mentor project teams while coordinating cross-functional groups.
- Oversee payment transformation initiatives, system implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness.
Required Experience
- Require 11 years of project management experience with significant exposure to banking and payments projects.
- Proven experience managing and delivering payment-related projects within the GCC region.
- Strong understanding of domestic and cross-border payments, clearing, settlement, SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, and related payment channels.
- Good exposure to core banking implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation programs.
- Experience working with banking stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
Preferred Skills
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills are preferred.
- Knowledge of banking, payments, and financial services domains is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, data analysis, project tracking, and governance is preferred.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for executive and steering committee presentations are preferred.
- Experience preparing project status reports, dashboards, and management presentations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or an equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
