Role Overview
A manufacturing business is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to lead projects from initial concept through installation and commissioning.
The role supports productivity, quality, efficiency, safety, and long-term operational performance across the facility.
The position works closely with operations, suppliers, and contractors on capital investment and continuous improvement projects.
Schedule
- The schedule is Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from concept, design, and planning through installation and commissioning.
- Produce, review, and interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Specify, source, and introduce manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders for safe and timely delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance with site health and safety standards.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
- Implement engineering solutions that enhance manufacturing performance.
