Gardinia Contracting is hiring a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute fitout works across UAE developments.
The role covers high-rise and mixed-use projects from design handover through project closeout.
Project responsibilities
- Manage daily site execution of interior finishes, joinery, and fitout MEP coordination.
- Review architectural and interior drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate sequencing and interfaces with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Monitor schedule progress and resolve delays proactively.
- Ensure compliance with method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC standards.
- Track material submittals, samples, and approvals.
- Conduct inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and handover documentation.
- Enforce HSE compliance for fitout crews and subcontractors.
- Track variations, RFIs, and site instructions to support cost control.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Four to eight years of experience in UAE fitout projects.
- Proven experience on high-rise construction projects in the UAE.
- Background with a main contractor or specialized fitout contractor.
- Strong knowledge of UAE fitout standards and Dubai Municipality or Trakhees approval processes.
