Job Summary

Project Leadership and Planning

• Lead the project from inception to completion and define its vision, goals, KPIs, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management and coordinate internal and external project parties.
• Develop detailed project plans and oversee construction, procurement, commissioning, and schedule coordination.
• Identify delays and risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain the project schedule.

Budget and Financial Management

• Develop and manage the project budget and ensure delivery within approved financial parameters.
• Monitor costs, payments, procurement efficiency, contract management, variations, change orders, and invoices.
• Collaborate with finance leadership to minimize financial risks and provide cost, expenditure, and risk reports.

Risk, Quality, and Compliance

• Develop and implement risk management processes covering schedule, budget, quality, safety, resources, regulatory changes, and external factors.
• Monitor quality assurance and quality control processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify quality and safety adherence.

Team and Contract Coordination

• Lead and mentor site engineers, planners, procurement specialists, and other project personnel.
• Provide team members with resources, training, support, and regular progress coordination.
• Oversee contract negotiation, procurement, subcontractor and vendor compliance, and timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.
• Resolve contractor and supplier disputes while minimizing project disruption.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling techniques, and contract law.
• Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and risk management strategies.
• Understanding of local construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Project Management, Construction Engineering, or an MBA is highly desirable.
• PMP certification or an equivalent certification is required.
• LEED or BREEAM accreditation is advantageous for sustainability-driven projects.
