Job Purpose

  • This role exists to ensure consistent delivery of safe, efficient, and high performing manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team.
  • Quality Apply core knowledge of Quality skills; Quality Measurement, Prioritization, Improvement, assessment, and Certification etc to sustain Quality standards in the factory operation.
  • Receive from Supply planning the production plan and organize with them the production schedule.
  • Based on the production schedule, organize the manpower accordingly with the standard to achieve the targeted cost.
  • Make sure that the production lines keep the expected OLE.
  • Assist in the identification of critical control points on the equipment and that they are able to be inspected according to QM procedures.
  • Make sure that the production attainment will be achieved also by meeting the expected production cost by reducing costs due to waste.
  • Coach, develop and motivate others by identifying regular maintenance tasks that can generally be done by others.
  • Make sure that the equipment will be maintained in basic condition by implementing the standard of Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Make sure that the startup operations change over and clean accordingly with GMP to be executed following the appropriate company standard.
  • Cooperate with maintenance team, to organize the schedule for the planned maintenance.
  • Participate in conducting trial and industrial tests of new types of packaging materials, raw materials and finished products.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in either (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical) discipline or a strong technical background with 2+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Ability to make critical decisions during operation failures, define priorities and work under pressure.
  • Practical experience of applying preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
  • Candidates must be able to analyze factory and technical processes to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with stakeholders to maintain operation goals.
  • Use Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience of operating with semi autonomous or autonomous teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in either (Mechanical, Electrical and chemical).
  • Use digital tools / programming to automate manual work.
  • Knowledge in applying UMS, TPM or any relevant continuous improvement concepts.
  • Experience in FMCG.
