Position Overview

  • We are seeking a strategic Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as the Solution Owner for SAP HANA Cloud.
  • This field facing leadership role drives the commercial success of SAP HANA Cloud both as a standalone database offering and as an integral part of our broader SAP Business Data Cloud and Business AI Platform strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Lead comprehensive product positioning and messaging for SAP HANA Cloud in competitive database markets.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that differentiate SAP HANA Cloud as a market leading database as a service solution.
  • Drive business success by positioning unique capabilities optimized for modern AI workloads.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Provide expert deal support and manage exception approval processes.
  • Lead sunset process management for legacy offerings and transitions.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive field enablement programs for sales and partner teams.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales organizations to align go to market strategies.
  • Serve as primary field facing spokesperson and subject matter expert for SAP HANA Cloud.

What You Bring

  • Deep database market knowledge with understanding of competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Proven experience in pricing and packaging strategies for enterprise software or cloud services.
  • Strong grasp of modern data architectures and AI/ML workload requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with ability to present to executive and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in product marketing or solution ownership roles.
  • Strong conflict management and cross functional collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple complex initiatives.
  • Track record of driving measurable business results in competitive technology markets.
  • Experience with enterprise sales processes and deal support methodologies.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The targeted combined range for this position is 108100 222800 CAD annually, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target.
