About the Role
Arc'teryx Equipment is seeking a Product Manager to own the complete product lifecycle of technology products enabling Merchant, Design, and Product Creation teams. The role requires 3+ years of product/project management experience, PLM implementation experience, and agile methodology expertise.

Responsibilities
- Own the complete product lifecycle from discovery, design, vendor selection, delivery, and support
- Lead cross functional product squad of engineers, business analysts, and QA in executing the roadmap
- Manage product backlog, resourcing, work intake, prioritization, and issue resolution
- Partner with business product owner to prioritize backlog and perform discovery research
- Support budgeting and forecasting, monitor costs, and optimize resource allocation
- Manage vendor relationships and support RFP/procurement process
- Deliver regular product status reports and communication plans to stakeholders and senior leaders
- Ensure risk and issue management by maintaining a RAID log and mitigation strategy
- Prepare and coordinate system changes for release, organize product demo sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Project or Product Manager/Owner
- 3+ years of experience leading a team with diverse skill sets
- Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
- Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.)
- Implemented PLM system features, upgrades, and migrations
- Experience in the apparel/gear/footwear/fashion industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx
- As the Product Manager, Merchandising & Product Lifecycle Technology, you will own the complete product lifecycle of a technology product to enable Merchant, Design, and Product Creation teams.
- You will deliver the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, vendor selection, delivery, and support.
- You will lead through influence within a cross functional agile product squad to create and execute the 12 18 month roadmap and oversee budget and resource allocation.
Meet Your Future Team
- The Merchandising and Product Lifecycle Technology team is within the Technology department and is responsible for the strategy and ongoing development of Arc'teryx's PLM platform (Centric).
- Our team builds and supports the systems that help turn Arc'teryx product ideas into real products, from early concept through sourcing and delivery.
Core Activities
- Completing product lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and end of life.
- Leading the cross functional product squad team of engineers, business analysts and quality assurance.
- Collaborating efficiently with several cross functional teams.
- Partnering with the business product owner to prioritize the product backlog.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Managing vendor relationships that support your technology products.
- Developing empathy for the guest/end user by incorporating Human Centered Design.
- Delivering regular and comprehensive product status reports.
- Executing day to day product strategy for a single product and delivering sprint commitments.
- Ensuring risk and issue management by maintaining a RAID log.
- Preparing and coordinating system changes for release and organizing product demo sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or post secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Project or Product Manager/Owner.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team with diverse skill sets.
- Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology.
- Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.).
- Implemented PLM system features, upgrades and migrations.
- Experience in the apparel/gear/footwear/fashion industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of stakeholders.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- High level of analytical and critical thinking.
- Experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is CAD 108,000 CAD 142,000.
