Overview

Leverage your expertise and join a leading company specializing in leading Pharmaceutical and medical devices company in Saudi Arabia.

The **Product & Business Development Manager** will be responsible for identifying and developing new products, conducting market insights and analysis, and establishing strategic partnerships, while working closely with R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure successful product development and market entry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct in-depth **market research and analysis** to identify new product opportunities and unmet clinical needs in Saudi Arabia.
  • Lead **product development initiatives** in coordination with R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams.
  • Translate market insights into actionable product strategies and portfolio expansion plans.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new **suppliers and manufacturing partners** to enhance product offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, principals, and international manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance) for successful product launches.
  • Monitor **product and business development KPIs**, opportunity pipelines, and performance metrics.
  • Represent the company in supplier meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Leverage established relationships with **NUPCO**, government authorities, hospitals, and distributors to support tenders, product listings, and long-term contracts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in **Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration**, or related field (**MBA preferred**).
  • Minimum **10+ years of experience** in **product development, market insights, or business development** within the medical devices industry.
  • Proven experience in **product strategy, supplier management, and R&D coordination**.
  • Strong understanding of the **Saudi healthcare market, medical device regulations, and procurement processes** including NUPCO.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess market opportunities and convert insights into viable products.
  • Excellent **analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management** skills.
