A leading chemical manufacturing company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a General Manager to take full responsibility for overall performance, including profit and loss, strategy, manufacturing operations, commercial growth, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategy and annual operating plan
- Take full responsibility for revenue, profitability, cash flow and budget performance
- Lead sales growth across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and selected export markets
- Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners
- Improve pricing, product mix, margins and customer profitability
- Oversee manufacturing operations, quality, maintenance and production planning
- Improve plant productivity, capacity utilization, yield and cost efficiency
- Ensure reliable procurement, inventory control and supply chain performance
- Lead new product development and technical service initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Build, develop and retain a high performing leadership team
- Provide regular business updates and recommendations to the Board
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- At least 12 15 years of relevant experience, including senior leadership responsibility
- Proven experience managing a profit and loss function within chemicals, paints, coatings, pigments, inks, plastics or industrial manufacturing
- Strong commercial, operational and financial management capabilities
- Experience in manufacturing optimization, business development and supply chain management
- Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is strongly preferred
- Fluency in Arabic & English
