Overview
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies required for restaurant operations.
This includes food ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other operational materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with UAE regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
- Ensure consistent quality of ingredients and compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen and operations teams
- Place purchase orders and track deliveries to avoid shortages or delays
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Compare prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure procurement aligns with budget and company policies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Handle import procedures if sourcing international products
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–5 years of procurement experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food supply chains in the UAE market
- Familiarity with local suppliers and import regulations
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month
