Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining hygiene and food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, or equivalent)
- Conduct regular hygiene, sanitation, and food safety inspections across kitchens, restaurants, storage areas, and other operational facilities
- Monitor compliance with hygiene policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly hygiene audits and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization procedures are followed in all operational areas
- Monitor pest control activities and coordinate with external pest control contractors
- Assist in investigating hygiene related incidents, customer complaints, and non conformities, and implement corrective actions
- Conduct food safety and hygiene training sessions for employees and new hires
- Verify food storage temperatures, personal hygiene practices, cleaning schedules, and waste management procedures
- Maintain hygiene documentation, audit records, cleaning logs, temperature records, and compliance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Food Science, Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, or a related field
- HACCP Certification (required)
- 3 years of experience as Assistant Hygiene Manager (Required)
- 5 years of experience in UAE (Required)
- 5 years of experience in Hospitality Industry (Required)
- Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent certification preferred
- ISO 22000 or Food Safety Management System knowledge is an advantage

Job Summary
- The Assistant Hygiene Manager supports the Hygiene Manager in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the organization's food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health standards.
- The role ensures compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international food safety standards while promoting a culture of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Food Science, Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- HACCP Certification (required).
- Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent certification preferred.
- ISO 22000 or Food Safety Management System knowledge is an advantage.
Pay
- AED 100 AED 200 per month
