- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures in compliance with HACCP and UAE Municipality regulations

- 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Culinary certificate or diploma preferred
- Basic Food Safety/HACCP certification is an advantage

Job Summary
- The Commis III is responsible for assisting the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and portioning food items.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in daily food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Prepare basic dishes according to standardized recipes and instructions.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with the hotel's quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures in compliance with HACCP and UAE Municipality regulations.
- Store food items properly and monitor stock rotation using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, and food safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
- Minimize food waste by following proper portion control and handling procedures.
- Ensure personal hygiene and grooming standards are maintained at all times.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary certificate or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Basic Food Safety/HACCP certification is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
- Experience in a 4 star or 5 star hotel is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,000 AED 3,500 per month
