Procurement Manager – Aluminum & Façade

Job Summary

Workplace and Employment

• The position is full-time and based in the United Arab Emirates.
• Work is performed in person.

Procurement and Sourcing

• Develop procurement strategies for aluminum, façade systems, glazing, curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and related materials.
• Source suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and contract conditions.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement schedules.

Project and Material Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Management, Design, Estimation, Production, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Review material requirements, specifications, approved vendors, and project schedules.
• Track orders through delivery and resolve delays or supply issues.
• Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate material planning.

Supplier and Commercial Management

• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance based on quality, price, delivery, service, and reliability.
• Maintain supplier databases and approved vendor lists and identify alternative suppliers.
• Monitor aluminum, glass, hardware, and façade material prices.
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
• Prepare forecasts, cost comparisons, and management reports.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure procurement complies with company policies, project specifications, and approved procedures.
• Maintain quotations, comparisons, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier records.
• Coordinate material approvals and inspections with Quality and Project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE import, customs, logistics, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of procurement experience, preferably in aluminum, façade, glazing, or construction companies.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade materials and related architectural systems.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, contract management, and vendor development.
• Strong understanding of procurement planning, lead times, logistics, and inventory management.
• Local or international supplier experience is preferred.
• UAE or GCC procurement experience is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, organizational, commercial, and cost-control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, suppliers, and deadlines.
