Lead the cost estimation department for aluminum and façade projects.
Prepare accurate cost proposals, manage tender submissions, and provide commercial insights to sales and project teams.
Estimation and Tendering
- Prepare cost estimates for façade and aluminum systems, including curtain walls, cladding, windows, and doors.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities for material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare competitive and compliant tender submissions within deadlines.
Cost and Risk Analysis
- Analyze direct and indirect costs, overheads, and contingencies.
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
Vendor and Team Management
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, maintain cost databases, and evaluate technical and commercial offers.
- Manage and mentor estimators and quantity surveyors and improve estimation processes and tools.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with design, technical, and procurement teams to develop efficient estimates.
- Support sales and business development teams with pricing, post-tender negotiations, and contract reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of aluminum and façade estimation experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, and aluminum systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software such as CCS, Candy, or PlanSwift.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 12,000 to AED 18,000 per month.
Workplace
- The position is full-time and work is performed in person.
