Responsibilities
- Develop pricing strategies across products, markets, and customer segments.
- Analyze competitors, market dynamics, customer behavior, margins, and price-volume-mix performance.
- Develop pricing models and frameworks for commercial decisions.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
- Lead pricing negotiations and support key customer opportunities.
- Monitor raw-material, packaging, and wider COGS changes.
- Establish pricing policies, guidelines, and processes.
- Improve profitability and optimize pricing.
- Build the newly created pricing function and guide a Pricing Analyst.
Requirements
- Proven pricing experience in downstream oil or a relevant manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of raw-material costs, input costs, COGS, and cost-based pricing.
- Experience across both B2B and B2C pricing.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with competitor pricing, margin optimization, and pricing strategy.
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Confidence to operate autonomously and build processes from the ground up.
Compensation
- The advertised salary is AED 30,000–35,000 per month.
