Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive freight quotations using destination, weight, volume, commodity, and service requirements.
• Obtain and compare airline, shipping line, courier, freight forwarder, and overseas agent rates.
• Maintain buying and selling rate records and calculate freight, surcharges, handling, customs, and other fees.
• Calculate chargeable weight using actual and volumetric weight and verify profit margins before releasing quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, agents, Sales, and Operations and negotiate competitive rates and margins.
• Monitor market and competitor pricing, update rates, and support special, spot, and promotional rate requests.
• Maintain rate sheets, quotations, customer rates, supplier rates, and pricing records.
• Follow up on quotation status and shipment bookings, handle urgent requests, and resolve pricing or billing issues.
• Prepare pricing reports and ensure compliance with company policies and commercial procedures.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in pricing, cargo, courier, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Good knowledge of air freight rates, chargeable and volumetric weight, and freight calculations.
• Familiarity with major airline or courier services and international destinations.
• Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, communication, coordination, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent quotation deadlines.
• Good command of English and Hindi.
• Air cargo or courier pricing experience and UAE cargo or logistics market experience are preferred.
