Role Overview
The role is Customs and Municipality PRO – Office and Field Operations.
The position supports customs clearance, municipality approvals, government procedures, and cargo movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily field operations related to customs clearance, municipality approvals, and government procedures.
- Visit customs offices, ports, airports, municipality departments, and other government authorities.
- Submit and collect customs declarations, permits, approvals, certificates, and official documents.
- Coordinate customs inspections and arrange cargo movement to inspection areas.
- Follow up on shipment releases, holds, deposits, duties, fines, and clearance matters.
- Coordinate with Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, airport and port authorities, and other government departments.
- Handle municipality inspections and product-related approvals for applicable shipments.
- Coordinate documents and cargo readiness with warehouse, transport, operations, and documentation teams.
- Arrange vehicle access, gate passes, cargo movements, deliveries, and collections.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies, inspection issues, and clearance delays.
- Process government fees, customs duties, deposits, and other charges through appropriate channels.
- Provide status updates, maintain records, collect official paperwork, and submit weekly reports.
