Job Summary
Coordinate the deployment, utilization, readiness, compliance, and safe operation of construction plant, machinery, transport vehicles, and light vehicles across multiple sites.
Act as the central coordination point between site, office, yard operations, and drivers or operators to support project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate equipment and vehicle deployment and movement across sites according to project schedules.
- Track utilization, operating hours, fuel consumption, downtime, equipment availability, and transport efficiency.
- Supervise operators, drivers, and technicians and ensure compliance with safety and operating procedures.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with PMV engineers and yard supervisors.
- Arrange mobilization, demobilization, RTA permits, and compliance for oversized or specialized loads.
- Maintain movement, maintenance, fuel, and incident records and prepare reports for management.
- Coordinate transport and equipment rentals with subcontractors and vendors.
- Advise project teams on equipment needs, bottlenecks, and operational solutions.
- Monitor HSE requirements covering lifting, rigging, vehicle safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support budgeting and cost control for transport, maintenance, spare parts, and fuel.
- Conduct site visits, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to site coordinators and operators.
- Ensure operators and drivers receive training on safe, efficient, and compliant equipment handling.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, transport management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of PMV experience in a UAE-based construction company.
