Job Summary
Manage IT service requests, servers, network infrastructure, Active Directory, system security, and performance.
Provide onsite and remote technical support for project site systems while meeting ITSM standards and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle service requests, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve or escalate issues according to ITSM practices and SLAs.
- Administer Active Directory, authentication, authorization, and directory service configuration.
- Deploy and update software, hardware, and peripherals across LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Maintain servers, backups, routers, switches, and firewalls for secure, highly available connectivity.
- Monitor security and performance and implement patches, upgrades, and intrusion prevention measures.
- Create SOPs and knowledge base articles and maintain accurate incident and operational records.
- Provide customer support, train colleagues, and resolve issues to maintain end-user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external vendors and provide in-person support for construction and remote project sites, including CCTV systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Construction or contracting environment experience is preferred.
- ITIL Foundation or a technical certification such as Microsoft, Cisco, or Fortinet is required.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
- The role includes support for construction and remote project locations.
