A leading company in government services is seeking a PMO Director to lead the Project Management Office and drive strategic and transformation initiatives. The role oversees enterprise-wide projects across digital transformation, operational excellence, and governance.

- Establish, lead, and continuously improve the enterprise PMO framework, governance model, delivery methodology, and reporting standards
- Manage the organization’s portfolio of strategic projects across operations, customer service, technology, finance, and shared services
- Oversee planning and execution of business transformation, digitalization, and operational improvement initiatives
- Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize projects based on strategic value, business impact, risk, and resource availability
- Develop executive level dashboards, portfolio reports, and performance updates for CEO and Executive Committee
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and ensure timely mitigation and resolution
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and vendor performance
- Ensure project governance, documentation, approvals, and reporting align with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Promote PMO best practices including Agile, waterfall, hybrid delivery models, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Lead, coach, and develop project managers and PMO team members
- Drive stakeholder alignment, communication, and change management across business functions
- Track project benefits, outcomes, and lessons learned to improve future project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 12 15 years of overall project management experience with minimum 5 years leading or managing an enterprise PMO
- Proven experience delivering large scale transformation, digitalization, technology, or operational excellence projects
- PMP certification mandatory; additional certifications like PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI ACP, or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of PMO governance, portfolio management, project controls, and executive reporting
- Experience in government services or visa services, travel, aviation, outsourcing, BPO, customer service, or service operations environments preferred
- Strong track record in managing cross functional projects involving senior stakeholders, external vendors, and multiple business units

Role Overview
