Compensation
- The position offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,000.
Qualifications and Attributes
- A diploma or related qualification in plumbing is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing work is expected.
- Proven experience in a plumbing role within hospitality is required.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration across groups and departments are required.
- A proactive, meticulous, hands-on, and detail-oriented approach is expected.
Plumbing and Pool Operations
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Carry out plumbing work for water supply, drainage, pumps, valves, and sanitary systems.
- Maintain and operate swimming pool pumps, filtration, circulation, valves, strainers, and backwashing systems.
- Monitor pool water quality, circulation, filtration, and chemical dosing.
- Resolve pool leakages, blockages, equipment issues, and corrective maintenance needs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain equipment activity records.
General Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues and perform routine plumbing and drainage inspections.
- Carry out light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic equipment repairs.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
- Ensure work complies with hotel safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
Work Details
- The job is full time in the Engineering department of a hospitality business.
- The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and requires hands-on physical maintenance work.
