Chef de Partie - Pastry position within the Culinary department at Five Hotels and Resorts in Dubai.
The role oversees a designated kitchen section and supports luxury hospitality culinary operations.
Compensation
- Fixed salary of AED 2,800 per month.
Requirements and preferences
- Proven Chef de Partie pastry experience in a luxury hotel or pool operation establishment is required.
- Culinary techniques, presentation and plating, equipment safety, HACCP, food hygiene, and restaurant operations knowledge are required.
- Leadership and organisational skills for guiding the culinary team are required.
- A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Pre-opening kitchen experience is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude and flexibility for weekends, holidays, and varied shifts are expected.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes, supervise the pastry section, and ensure efficient setup before service.
- Collaborate on seasonal menus, culinary concepts, dishes, menu components, and displays.
- Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff while providing guidance on techniques and safety.
- Monitor ingredient stocks, minimise waste, and place orders to maintain supply.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and effective service coordination.
Schedule
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, according to hotel requirements.
