Role Overview

The Front Office Supervisor role supports reception operations and guest service within a lifestyle hospitality group.

The position combines front-office supervision, guest relations, service-quality delivery, team support, and commercial performance.

Compensation

  • The role offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,800.

Experience and Skills

  • Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of front-office experience in a hotel, leisure, or retail environment.
  • Fluent English and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and Outlook and strong Opera hotel PMS knowledge are required.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
  • Candidates must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Service and Leadership Expectations

  • The role requires welcoming energy, conversational ability, attention to detail, teamwork, leadership, and a hands-on approach.
  • The supervisor is expected to maintain grooming, confidentiality, brand, and professional service standards.

Front Office and Guest Service

  • Oversee reception operations and deliver excellent check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Support the team with guest requests and inquiries and provide personalized assistance.
  • Share relevant guest feedback with the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors.
  • Coordinate information about special events and VIP guests with relevant departments.

Commercial and Product Knowledge

  • Maintain knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, promotions, facilities, venues, operating hours, and events.
  • Maximize room occupancy and use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.

Team Leadership and Compliance

  • Monitor team appearance, grooming standards, and performance and support training and teamwork.
  • Ensure front-office team members have the product and facility knowledge needed for daily duties.
  • Follow fire safety, bomb-threat, health and safety, confidentiality, and brand requirements.
  • Attend training and complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
