Role overview
CC&L is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineering Manager for its information systems team.
The role leads a small platform engineering team supporting systematic investment operations in a complex, regulated technology environment.
The manager will coach engineers while contributing directly to reliability, integration, data workflow, and production control problems.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor platform system integration and reliability engineers while staying close to design and delivery.
- Set standards for observability, SLOs, incident response, deployment safety, infrastructure as code, production readiness, and integration control.
- Design resilient integrations across APIs, event streams, batch or file transfers, data workflows, vendor platforms, and cloud or hybrid environments.
- Build infrastructure for investment middle and back office operations, including orchestration, data quality, reconciliation, exception handling, lineage, and audit evidence.
- Build safe automation and AIOps capabilities to reduce manual work and improve detection and recovery.
- Own complex reliability, integration, and production control issues and improve observability signal quality.
