Role Overview
CC&L is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineering Manager for its information systems team.
The manager will lead a small platform engineering team focused on systems integration, reliability, automation, and control foundations supporting systematic investment operations.
The role combines technical leadership, people development, and direct ownership of difficult production problems in a regulated environment.
Workplace
- CC&L offices operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor platform system integration and reliability engineers while staying close to design and delivery.
- Set standards for observability, SLOs, incident response, deployment safety, infrastructure as code, production readiness, and integration control.
- Design resilient integrations across APIs, event streams, batch or file transfers, data workflows, vendor platforms, and cloud or hybrid environments.
- Build infrastructure for systematic investment middle and back office operations, including orchestration, data quality controls, reconciliations, exception handling, lineage, and audit evidence.
