Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor pipeline construction, modification, addition, and operation activities.
- Coordinate with licensees to obtain permits and ensure compliance with Kingdom regulations and global industry standards.
- Provide section development and improvement recommendations.
- Supervise reviews of pipeline project reports and route planning.
- Review drawings for connection points, pumps, valves, measuring devices, and road crossings.
- Supervise reviews of design, corrosion protection, and pipeline testing specifications.
- Supervise reviews of pipeline control systems and leak detection schemes.
- Support reviews of third-party connections and major pipeline modifications or additions.
- Ensure pressure testing is completed before pipeline operation.
- Represent the Ministry at relevant internal and international conferences and forums.
- Direct reports, manage performance plans, and supervise policy compliance.
- Plan human resources requirements and assess training needs and outcomes.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administrative sciences, or a specialization related to the field of work.
- A master’s degree in engineering, administrative sciences, or a related specialization is preferred.
Experience
- At least six years of experience in the same field of work.
