Job Purpose
Supervise airport maintenance operations and ensure facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain in optimal working condition.
Coordinate maintenance activities, supervise employees, ensure safety compliance, and manage resources efficiently.
Operational Responsibilities
- Monitor generator and automatic transfer switch schedules and follow up on testing of mechanical and life-safety systems.
- Respond to power outages, water-supply interruptions, and maintenance disruptions affecting air transport operations.
- Inspect tools, equipment, procedures, airport facilities, warehouses, spare parts, and newly installed systems.
- Develop cleaning schedules and plans and maintain cleaning-supply and consumable inventories.
- Manage work permits and coordinate planned or emergency maintenance with contractors and airport stakeholders.
- Monitor HVAC, lighting, and other energy-consuming equipment through the Building Management System.
- Develop GIS floor plans, layouts, and site maps and support space planning and upgrade projects.
People and Administration
- Set objectives, identify training needs, evaluate outcomes, and guide direct reports.
- Train and develop maintenance employees and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Implement relevant policies and procedures, prepare reports for the Airport Manager, and hold regular progress meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
