Position Overview

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Payroll Officer to manage and oversee end to end payroll operations for employees across multiple regions.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll processing, employee benefits administration, payroll reporting, and compliance coordination.
  • The role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment while supporting employees working remotely across different countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Prepare salary transfers through the Wages Protection System (WPS) in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, deductions, commissions, and other payroll inputs.
  • Ensure payroll calculations including gratuity, leave salary, bonuses, and final settlements are accurate.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, employee files, and salary documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding employee onboarding, offboarding, salary revisions, and benefits updates.
  • Support payroll audits and provide required reports and documentation.
  • Address employee payroll related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist employees with salary certificates, bank letters, and payroll related documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll information at all times.
  • Generate payroll reports, reconciliation statements, and salary analysis reports for management.
  • Monitor payroll discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of payroll experience preferably within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS and payroll compliance.
  • Experience using payroll software and HRMS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
