Payroll Administrator
to support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and related HR operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of payroll processes.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll data, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting employees with compensation-related queries.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime approvals, deductions, and arrears, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee records in the ERP system while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate payroll-related documents with HR, PRO, and Accounts teams.
- Process leave salaries and final settlements in line with company policies.
- Handle and resolve employee queries related to payroll, compensation, and benefits via email, phone, and HR ticketing systems.
- Prepare payroll reports, employee data reports, and required documentation for management and Accounts.
- Issue payslips to employees without system access and prepare payroll-related letters and correspondence.
- Coordinate with banks on payroll accounts (e.g., Ratibi) and related matters.
- Support compliance with payroll policies and assist with general HR operations when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Payroll, HR Manager, or HR Director.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar administration
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is mandatory
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle Fusion (Payroll Module) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
