The Lana - Dorchester Collection is hiring an Order Taker for In-Room Dining in Dubai.
The role supports daily outlet operations and guest service while contributing to the hotel's service standards and values.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest calls, answer menu questions, and warmly greet In-Room Dining guests.
- Recommend and upsell menu items using detailed menu knowledge.
- Ensure the outlet is immaculate and service standards are followed.
- Train and mentor waiters to support high-quality guest service.
- Monitor revenue targets and control costs within preset budgets.
- Attend pre-service briefings and coordinate with other departments on presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Role Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of menu offerings is expected.
- The role requires the ability to recommend and upsell menu items while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- The role includes training and mentoring waiter team members.
