The Lana - Dorchester Collection is hiring a Houseman in Dubai through Hosco.
The Houseman supports housekeeping, laundry, linen distribution, guest requests, and hotel floor operations.
The role offers learning and development through the employer's training academy.
Key responsibilities
- Sort, count, tag, and dispatch soiled linen to the laundry.
- Deliver guest request items and place or remove extra beds, baby cots, pillows, and other special requests.
- Count clean linen and deliver it to allocated locations on hotel floors.
- Assist the laundry, uniform room, and housekeeping floor teams as required.
- Action and complete calls and requests according to hotel standards.
- Issue clean food and beverage linen and track shortages or damaged items.
- Coordinate clean and dirty linen with pool, gym, and spa teams.
- Maintain paperwork and prepare monthly reports for linen sent to external laundry.
- Complete inventories of linen, amenities, uniforms, chemicals, and operating supplies.
- Identify shortages, damaged or stained linen, and supplies that need ordering.
- Keep corridors and pantry areas clean, tidy, and correctly stocked.
- Log, store, and hand over Lost and Found items according to policy and procedures.
