Role Overview
The Lana - Dorchester Collection is hiring an Electrician in Dubai through Hosco.
The role supports hotel electrical maintenance, building equipment operation, guest requests, and engineering safety standards.
Electrical Maintenance
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in compliance with applicable codes.
- Perform preventive maintenance and test electrical systems, subsystems, and equipment.
- Disassemble, replace, clean, and repair electrical components and equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble power and lighting equipment for exhibits, meetings, and banquets.
- Complete electrical maintenance work orders from all departments in a timely manner.
- Participate in preventive maintenance for building equipment and guest rooms.
Guest and Operational Support
- Respond to guest calls, resolve guest complaints, and respond to emergency situations.
- Complete other special projects assigned by management.
- Coordinate with other engineering staff to support smooth operation.
- Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, and safety hazards to the manager.
Workplace and Safety
- Maintain the engineering area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow Dorchester Collection engineering policies, standards, procedures, job safety analyses, and accident-prevention practices.
- The role is based in a hotel environment and supports guest rooms, events, meetings, and banquets.
Requirements
- Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
- Follow departmental job safety analyses, policies, standards, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain the engineering area in a clean and orderly condition.
