Role Overview
The Lana - Dorchester Collection is hiring an Order Taker for its In-Room Dining operation in Dubai.
The role focuses on daily outlet operations, guest service, menu guidance, upselling, and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily In-Room Dining operations and provide an excellent guest experience.
- Answer guest calls, explain menu options, recommend items, and support upselling.
- Train and mentor waiters and ensure service and menu knowledge remain strong.
- Monitor revenue targets and control beverage and operating costs within budgets.
- Attend pre-service briefings and coordinate with other hotel departments.
- Maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
Role Requirements
- Strong knowledge of In-Room Dining menus and guest service standards is required for the role.
- The role requires the ability to train team members and support revenue and cost-control goals.
