Position: Senior Software Engineer (Database Development)
Database with 5+ years of experience in database development, optimization, and support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL, with proven experience in designing, developing, and supporting high-performance database solutions for mission-critical enterprise
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database objects, functions, stored procedures, and queries.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and data models.
- Support data migration, transformation, and integration initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with database standards.
- Participate in database design reviews and solution architecture discussions.
- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
- Work closely with application developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support impact assessments and effort estimations for new requirements.
Technical skills required
- Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

- Query optimization and performance tuning
