Role overview
Oversee site operations to ensure high service levels, profitability, cost efficiency, and compliance.
Direct inbound and outbound logistics activities at the Whitsett site.
Responsibilities
- Lead site operations and ensure staff meet customer service agreements.
- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, procedures, safety programs, and freight movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe facility and oversee office and warehouse equipment.
- Ensure administrative paperwork is accurate, timely, and compliant.
- Coach, train, and mentor direct reports and support their career development.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience.
- At least three years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and forklift driver certification.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software.
- Ability to allocate work and manage departmental financial matters.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, or equivalent education and experience.
- Three years of industry experience.
Schedule
- The scheduled shift is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Work location
- The position is based at 6550 Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, North Carolina 27377.
- The role oversees physical site, office, and warehouse operations.
Compensation
- Annual salary is $100,000.
