Role Overview

Inventory and Operations

• Ensure inventory procedures and processes comply with client requirements, system requirements, company policy, ISO guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other regulations.
• Plan, execute, and reconcile physical inventories.
• Oversee daily cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting according to customer specifications and contractual obligations.
• Resolve discrepancies and high-value variances through established investigation processes.
• Organize data and provide results for management review and action.
• Resolve warehouse system application issues using technical troubleshooting skills.
• Identify and solve operational and WMS issues within the work group.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client's Inventory Control team.
• Recommend enhancements to improve inventory accuracy and WMS integrity.
• Create, implement, and update inventory operational standard operating procedures.
• Develop vendor compliance procedures where applicable.

Reporting and Team Leadership

• Support the client with required reporting and queries.
• Balance customer month-end buckets and reports.
• Use communication skills to motivate staff and build effective relationships with peers, executives, and customers.
• Develop staff and organizational programs covering training, succession planning, skill enhancement, and department efficiency.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and address employee performance problems according to company policy.
• Keep current with technology changes and innovations through study, publications, networking, and professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Forklift driver certification.
• In-depth experience using computer systems, mainframes, workstations, and WMS for inventory reconciliation, performance measurement, and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and quality assurance, including Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Additional professional certifications may be required.

Compensation

• The listed salary is $90,000; no compensation cadence is specified.

Schedule

• The stated work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Workplace

• The role is based at a warehouse facility at 6550 Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, North Carolina.
