Role overview
CEVA Logistics is hiring a Material Handler/Operator I for warehouse logistics and equipment operations.
The role supports safe, efficient warehouse operations and includes lead responsibilities for staff.
Core responsibilities
- Provide customer service, communication, and operational assistance to internal and external customers.
- Serve as a staff lead, assign work, provide direction, and support employee training.
- Operate forklifts, including for heavy and oversized pieces.
- Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins using established sequences and characteristics.
- Operate hand tools for bales, crates, and other containers.
- Complete or verify inventory, receiving, delivery, labeling, and related documentation.
- Oversee warehouse maintenance and help resolve operational or service concerns.
- Prepare orders, pick and count materials, and move or load materials between operations or trucks.
- Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual equipment.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Typically at least five years of warehousing or related logistics experience.
