Role Overview
CEVA Logistics is seeking a Material Handler Operator I for warehouse logistics operations.
The role involves equipment operation, warehouse organization, staff direction, material movement, and customer service.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and operational assistance to internal and external customers.
- Serve as a staff lead, assign work, provide direction, and train employees.
- Perform forklift operations, including handling heavy and oversized pieces.
- Coordinate receipts, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products.
- Sort and place materials in racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Use hand tools to handle bales, crates, and other containers.
- Complete or verify inventory, receiving, and delivery documentation.
- Oversee warehouse maintenance and help resolve operational concerns.
- Prepare orders, pick and count materials, and move or load materials between operations or trucks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Typically at least five years of warehousing or related logistics experience is required.
- Forklift certification is typically required within three to six months of hire in most operations.
- A valid state-issued driver's license is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to operate warehouse tools and equipment, prioritize work, train staff, serve customers, work in teams, and complete basic documents.

- The position is based in a warehouse environment in Whitsett, North Carolina.
- The listed schedule is a day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
