Role overview

Support essential warehouse operations in a clean, efficient, and safe environment.

Handle materials, inventory, tools, equipment, and products across receiving, storage, staging, and delivery activities.

The role is Material Handler I on the first shift.

Warehouse operations

  • Pick inventory, count cargo and materials, and hand-stage and load goods.
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products.
  • Prepare orders and move items between receiving, production, storage, and designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets, or bins according to established sequences.

Equipment and documentation

  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, hand tools, and a forklift after certification when required.
  • Complete and verify forms, documents, labels, and inventory information.
  • Identify operational or service concerns and assist with resolution.

Maintenance and safety

  • Sweep floors, clean docks, and maintain staging, packing, racking, and storage areas.
  • Store equipment properly and perform basic preventative maintenance and related tasks.

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools and perform manual tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to read, understand, and complete basic checklists, forms, and related documents.
  • Ability to respond professionally to customer needs and work in a team environment.

Additional qualifications

  • Forklift certification is typically required in most operations within 3 to 6 months of hire.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license is preferred.
