Position Summary

The Human Resources Partner aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.

The role delivers value-added HR services and maintains business knowledge covering financial position, plans, culture, and competition.

Responsibilities

  • Provide performance-management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics to develop HR recommendations, programs, and policies.
  • Support recruitment strategy, staffing needs, position descriptions, requisitions, sourcing, selection, offers, onboarding, and internal mobility.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment-law requirements and reduce legal and compliance risks.
  • Improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention while providing HR policy guidance.
  • Advise on talent acquisition, development, retention, engagement, training, restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify management and business-unit training needs and evaluate programs against objectives.
  • Perform related duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years of working knowledge across multiple human resources disciplines required.
  • Knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws required.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting, performance management, coaching, and associate development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.

Compensation

  • Expected salary range is $95,000 to $122,000 per year.
  • The position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
