The Human Resources Partner aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
The role delivers value-added HR services and maintains business knowledge covering financial position, plans, culture, and competition.
Responsibilities
- Provide performance-management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to develop HR recommendations, programs, and policies.
- Support recruitment strategy, staffing needs, position descriptions, requisitions, sourcing, selection, offers, onboarding, and internal mobility.
- Maintain knowledge of employment-law requirements and reduce legal and compliance risks.
- Improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention while providing HR policy guidance.
- Advise on talent acquisition, development, retention, engagement, training, restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify management and business-unit training needs and evaluate programs against objectives.
- Perform related duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of working knowledge across multiple human resources disciplines required.
- Knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws required.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of recruiting, performance management, coaching, and associate development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.
Compensation
- Expected salary range is $95,000 to $122,000 per year.
- The position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
