Job Description
An experienced North Indian Cook is sought to join a catering team in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves preparing authentic North Indian dishes in regular and large quantities while maintaining taste, quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare North Indian curries, gravies, breads, rice dishes, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian items.
- Handle daily meal production and catering requirements.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and food quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work area.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team for daily production.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a North Indian Cook.
- Good knowledge of authentic North Indian cuisine.
- Experience in catering or large-scale food production is preferred.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
