We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our catering team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, clean, and portion meat, poultry, and other products.
- Prepare meat according to standard portions and kitchen requirements.
- Handle meat products safely and maintain proper hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of meat.
- Maintain cleanliness of the butchery area, tools, and equipment.
- Minimize product wastage and maintain consistent portion sizes.
- Follow food safety and company hygiene procedures.
- Support the kitchen team with daily meat preparation requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butcher in a catering company, restaurant, hotel, or central kitchen.
- Good knowledge of meat cutting, trimming, and portioning.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a busy, high-volume catering environment.
- Good teamwork and time-management skills.
