Role overview

The role is for a Senior Network & Security Engineer supporting secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure.

Location and notice

Key responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues escalated by support teams.
  • Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Automate network administration tasks and monitor automation effectiveness.
  • Mentor team members on technical issues and best practices.
  • Implement and test access controls, authentication, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and recommend improvements to performance, capacity, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer, Senior Network Security Engineer, or Network Administrator.
  • Professional certification such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, architecture, and security.
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
  • Experience with network security, access control models, and authentication.
  • Proficiency with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco IOS and Junos.
  • Knowledge of Python or Perl for network automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • The successful candidate should work independently and manage multiple priorities.
