Job Summary

The employer is seeking a Senior MEP Engineer with MEP contracting and construction site execution experience.

The role manages MEP works, coordinates project stakeholders, and supports delivery within quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Candidates with infrastructure, consulting, or facility management experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise MEP works from installation through commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, submittals, and technical documents.
  • Supervise installation, monitor progress and resources, and conduct site inspections.
  • Resolve cross-discipline site issues and manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE standards, project requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
  • Prepare progress, inspection, and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate inspections, approvals, and clarifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of MEP contracting experience.
  • Strong MEP contracting, site execution, and project delivery experience is mandatory.
  • Building or construction project experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
  • Understanding of UAE construction standards, codes, and HSE requirements.
  • Leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling subcontractors and project teams.

Experience Exclusions

  • Infrastructure experience will not be considered.
  • Consulting experience will not be considered.
  • Facility management experience will not be considered.
